Terms of use

Last updated 13 October 2026

By using Autoknowtive you agree to these terms. They’re short and written in plain English. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

The game

Autoknowtive is a free car-recognition game, provided for fun. We may change, pause or remove modes, cars or features at any time, and scores, streaks and collections stored in your browser can be lost if your browser data is cleared.

Fair play

Please don’t:

• scrape, copy or bulk-download the site’s photos, data or answers, or use bots to play;
• try to read the Daily answer early, tamper with our servers or get around rate limits;
• overload, disrupt or attack the site, or use it to break any law.

We may block access for anyone who does.

Carmakers and trademarks

Autoknowtive is an independent fan project. It isn’t affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any carmaker. Car makes, model names and logos are trademarks of their owners and appear only to identify the vehicles shown.

Photos and content

Car photos remain the property of their owners and are shown, resized and compressed, only so players can identify the cars, with credits where they apply. If you own a photo and want it credited differently or removed, contact us with a link to the car or photo and we’ll act promptly.

The Autoknowtive name, logo, design and game code are ours. Sharing your results with the share button is welcome.

Accuracy

Specs, prices, years and trivia are compiled with care for the game, but they can be incomplete or wrong. They’re not advice: please don’t rely on them for buying, insuring or servicing a vehicle. Spotted a mistake? Let us know.

Ads and other sites

The site shows ads from Google and its partners and may link to other websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or progress, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Privacy

How the site uses browser storage, cookies and ads is covered by the privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to play means you accept the update.
